telephone number reserved in Canada and the United States to provide
information and referrals to health, human and social service organizations.
Dialing 2-1-1 in almost every part of the United States will connect you to
human and social services for your area. 2-1-1 services include places to find
emergency food, housing and emergency shelter locations, children’s services,
support for seniors older persons and people with disabilities, and mental
health and counseling services, among many others.

The mission of Accessible Space, Inc. (ASI)
is to provide accessible, affordable, assisted/supportive and independent
living opportunities for persons with physical disabilities and brain injuries,
as well as seniors. This mission is accomplished through the development and
cost-effective management of accessible, affordable housing, as well as the
provision of assisted/supportive living and rehabilitation services.

Goodwill of Southern Nevada, Inc. is a non-profit organization that provides education, employment and training for people with disabilities and other barriers to employment to maximize the quality of life for each individual served.
The sale of donated "gently used" merchandise supports Goodwill's education, job training and job placement services for anyone in our community who needs help.
In 2009, your donations enabled us to provide jobs, job training and job-placement services to 5,952 individuals in our community. Through our Career Connections center, we helped 889 people get a job.

Department of Employment, Training & Rehabilitation’s (DETR) Bureau of
Vocational Rehabilitation is a state and federally funded program designed to
help people with disabilities become employed and to help those already
employed perform more successfully through training, counseling and other
support methods.
